Objectives of the Club
The objects for which aim of "The SPINRPHEX Club" is established are:
• To promote interest in and development of rural medicine, dentistry and nursing at high school and undergraduate level, through publications, meetings with guest speakers, field trips, competitions and any other means at disposal of the club.
• To strive to provide medical, dental and nursing students the to opportunity to get involved in a student run club and to develop leadership and skills.
• Encourage participation at all levels.
• Increase awareness and understanding of rural health through education
• Promote positive rural experience throughu active community involvement.
• To support and encourage rural recruitment
• To provide a support network for students interested in rural health
• To acknowledge and make a priority ATSI health.
• Networking; students, others, alumni
• To actively promote health promotion; mental health and, self care at all levels.
